Our Process
1. Security Consultation
We walk your property with you to understand your security concerns—package theft, vehicle break-ins, entry points, or general monitoring. We identify areas you want covered and discuss blind spots.
2. Coverage Design
We create a camera placement plan showing each camera location, field of view, and what it covers. We ensure overlapping coverage of key areas and eliminate blind spots while respecting neighbor privacy.
3. Equipment Selection
Based on your coverage plan, we recommend specific cameras for each location—bullet cameras for long distances, dome cameras for close-range, doorbells for entries. We spec the NVR storage based on camera count and retention needs.
4. Detailed Quote
You receive a quote covering cameras, NVR/Dream Machine, PoE switch (if needed), all cabling, mounting hardware, and installation labor. Equipment can be customer-supplied or purchased through us.
5. PoE Cable Installation
We run Cat6 cables from each camera location back to your NVR or PoE switch location. Outdoor cables are rated for exterior use and properly weatherproofed at penetration points.
6. Camera Mounting
Cameras are securely mounted at planned locations, aimed for optimal coverage, and connected to PoE cables. Outdoor cameras are mounted under eaves or in weatherproof housings as appropriate.
7. System Configuration
We configure the NVR, set up each camera's recording schedule and quality settings, define motion detection zones to reduce false alerts, and configure AI detection for people and vehicles.
8. App Setup & Training
We install the UniFi Protect app on your phone, configure remote access, set up notification preferences, and walk you through viewing live feeds, reviewing recordings, and managing the system.

What's PoE and why is it better?
Power over Ethernet delivers power and data through one cable. It's more reliable than WiFi cameras and cleaner than running separate power cables.
How much storage do I need?
It depends on camera count, resolution, and retention time. Typically 2-4TB covers 4-8 cameras for 2-4 weeks of recording.
Can I view cameras on my phone?
Yes. UniFi Protect and most systems offer apps for remote viewing anywhere you have internet.
Do you install Ring or Nest cameras?
We focus on professional PoE systems like UniFi Protect. For WiFi cameras, we can install power outlets at desired locations.
What about privacy considerations?
