What We Provide
Why It Matters
Our Process
1. Site Survey & Requirements
We walk your facility with IT stakeholders to understand current and future needs. How many workstations? Where are printers and copiers? What about wireless access points, VoIP phones, and security cameras? We document everything and identify existing pathway options.
2. Network Design
Based on the survey, we create a complete cabling design—MDF/IDF locations, cable pathways, drop locations, and rack layouts. We specify cable categories (Cat6/Cat6a), fiber types, and patch panel configurations to support your performance requirements.
3. Pathway Planning
We plan cable routes through ceilings, walls, and conduits. For open ceilings, we specify cable tray locations. For finished spaces, we identify access points and any required core drilling. We coordinate with building management for pathway approvals.
4. Material Procurement
We source plenum-rated cable for above-ceiling runs, proper patch panels, racks, and cable management. All materials meet or exceed TIA/EIA standards. We order sufficient cable with proper service loops—no stretched runs that fail certification.
5. Cable Installation
Our technicians pull cable through pathways, maintaining proper bend radius and avoiding sources of interference. We leave appropriate service loops at both ends and dress cables neatly. Each cable is labeled at both ends during installation for accurate documentation.
6. Termination
Using proper punch-down tools and techniques, we terminate cables at patch panels and wall jacks following T568B standards. Fiber connections are fusion-spliced or properly terminated with tested connectors. Every termination follows manufacturer specifications.
7. Testing & Certification
Every cable run is tested with Fluke DSX-series certification equipment. We verify wire mapping, length, attenuation, crosstalk, and return loss. Each cable receives a pass/fail certification to TIA standards—Cat6 to 250MHz, Cat6a to 500MHz.
8. Documentation & Handoff
You receive complete as-built drawings showing all cable runs, a spreadsheet with cable ID/port assignments, and certification reports for every cable. For future moves and changes, your IT team has everything they need to manage the infrastructure.
