Why It Matters
Signs You Need This Service
Not sure if you need new construction & remodeling? Here are the warning signs to watch for.
Planning a home addition
Additions need new circuits, often panel upgrades, and must tie into existing systems properly. Include electrical in early planning.
Kitchen or bathroom remodel planned
Kitchen and bath remodels have specific electrical code requirements. Plan electrical with your remodel design.
Finishing a basement
Basement finishes need proper lighting, outlets every 12 feet, GFCI protection, and often dedicated circuits for media rooms.
Converting garage to living space
Garages converted to living space need heating/cooling circuits, proper lighting, and outlets meeting living area codes.
Building a new home
New construction requires complete electrical design, rough-in, inspections, and final trim. We handle all phases.
Adding a detached garage or workshop
Detached buildings need separate sub-panels, underground wiring, and proper disconnects.
Builder didn't include electrical allowance
Some builders provide basic electrical. We upgrade to your desired level—more outlets, better lighting, smart home wiring.
Remodel plans don't show electrical
Many remodel plans lack electrical details. We'll create an electrical plan that meets code and your needs.

Our Process
1. Plan Review & Bid
We review your architectural plans, discuss your electrical requirements (outlet locations, lighting vision, special circuits), and provide a detailed bid covering all materials and labor. For remodels, we assess existing conditions.
2. Electrical Design
We create or refine the electrical plan showing outlet locations, switch positions, fixture rough-in points, and circuit assignments. We ensure adequate circuits for kitchens, bathrooms, and special equipment.
3. Permit & Scheduling
We pull the electrical permit and coordinate with your general contractor on scheduling. Rough-in happens after framing is complete and inspected, but before insulation.
4. Rough-In
We install all electrical boxes, run wiring through studs and joists, and stub out circuits for future fixtures. Panel location is set, and all home runs are pulled to the panel location. Low-voltage wiring (data, coax) is roughed in.
5. Rough-In Inspection
We schedule the rough-in inspection with your municipality. The inspector verifies proper wire sizing, box fill, AFCI/GFCI circuit planning, and code compliance. This must pass before drywall can be installed.
6. Trim-Out
After drywall, paint, and flooring are complete, we return to install all devices—outlets, switches, dimmers—plus light fixtures, the electrical panel, and make final connections. This is when the space comes to life.
7. Final Inspection
We schedule the final electrical inspection. The inspector verifies all devices are properly installed, AFCI/GFCI protection is working, panel labeling is complete, and the system is safe for occupancy.
8. Walkthrough & Handoff
We walk through the completed space with you, explain any special features, demonstrate smart controls, and ensure everything meets your expectations. We provide panel documentation and warranty information.
