The first
Iranian round-table on Architectural Programming

The Educational Workshop’s
public affairs reports:
A round-table was held in Tehran on October attended
by workshop team members (form Farazab Consulting
Engineers) along with a number of authorities on
Architectural Programming. The event was organized
to discuss and exchange of views on the themes and
direction of the workshop. At the beginning, Dr.
Nader Rouzrokh as the workshops head instructed
notify the necessity for stabilizing of
Architectural Programming along with the
representing a definition for the profession and
it’s domain of inclusion. He also mentioned
compiling the profession as the first step in this
process. The other round-table contributors (Eng.
Mehrdad Zavare Mohammadi, Eng. Babak Fadavi and Eng.
Hamid Reza Naser Nasir) expressed challenges of the
profession, its history in Iran and its relationship
with “Architectural Studies”. Considering the lack
of time and subject to examine the discussed items,
duration of round-table was postponed to another
session.
